The Author: Melissa

Texan Canadian is where I write my way through questions, without pretending there’s a clean or finished answer.

I write about sustainability, spirituality, handwork, daily life, but mostly I write about attention: what we notice, what we keep, what we let go of. This is a space for imperfect practice, for trying things, for revisiting them, and for allowing ideas to change over time.

There’s no optimization here. No urgency to turn everything into advice. Just a steady rhythm of writing, and an interest in what becomes possible when we stay with things a little longer.
